The Basic course:

The basic course is meant for people who want to start with Power Yoga.

During the basic course you will learn the following 

  • Using SA/HA or Ujaji Breathing
  • Working with energy locks known as bandha's
  • Sun salutation A and B
  • Working with the connection flow better known as vinyasa
  • A number of mini-flows
Level 1:

Level 1
classes are based on the Ashtanga Primary Series as explained by David Swenson in his book Ashtanga Yoga – The Practice Manual.

Every class will consist of:

  • Sunsalutaions A and B
  • Continuous Flow
  • Vinyasas between the sitting postures
Power Yoga Light:

Power Yoga Light is a  less dynamic version of our Level 1 classes. The main difference is that we won't be in continous flow the whole class. Of course the Power Yoga principles will be there,  but there will be  less emphasis on them.

In a Power Yoga Light class will be mini-flows, seperate postures (asana's)  and exercises.

There will be postures (asana's) from Ashtanga Yoga,  Dynamic Yoga, Yin Yoga and traditional Hatha Yoga.
